Martys just back from his round the world trip and hasnt stopped grinning. Scouting for locations for Rip Curls WCT events, Marty did it tough in Puerto Rico, then Portugal and Italy. He promises he got some work done......?

Introducing 3D production. Nalu has the equipment and skills to deliver 3D content production. The 3D market is emerging quickly with numerous local and international broadcasters making major announcements this year. April 2010 - Murderball

Providing TV production for the Australian Paralympic committee, Nalu was introduced to Wheelchair Rugby aka Murderball, at the APCs Four Nations tournatment in Sydney. The highlights package can be found HERE.

April 2010 - OXY TVC

Nalu provided the creative development and production of a TVC for a new range of male anti-acne products from Metholatum.

March/April 2010 - LIVE SURFING ON YOUR TV

Just of the back of two successful live broadcasts from the Quiksilver and Roxy Pros on the Gold Coast and the Rip Curl Pro at Bells. Both events streamed to million online and live into Fuel Australia, as well as, a number of international broadcasters.

March 2010 - Tourism Victoria - Great Ocean Road

TVC production for Tourism Victoria featuring the Great Ocean Road. Developing creative based around the idea of around the next corner we utilised local talent for an authentic production.

February 2010 - Defender Short Films

With Land Rover relaunching the Defender range, Nalu developed three core values central to the vehicle's appeal - Design, Tough and Escape. Producing content around these themes and leveraging Defenders association with surfing, resulted in three short films distributed online and mobile at promotional events and during the live broadcast of the Quiksilver Pro (also managed by us ; ] ).

November 2009 - Time to cruise.

Donning a hard hat and a solid mo, Luke is enjoying a stint in Singapore documenting the incredible refurb of one of the P&O international cruise ships. Once Luke is back we head to Sydney to document the launch and maiden voyage of the new Pacific Jewel. Check out the blog HERE.

October 2009 - Espresso anyone?

Back from Portugal where we produced the live international broadcast, daily highlights and feeds and a one hour HD special for worldwide distribution from the Rip Curl Pro Search event as part of the ASP World Tour of Surfing. Awesome couple of weeks fueled by short blacks with the broadcast rating highly and the webcast smashing previous records with the total streams amounting to 2.6 million with the average viewing time being 41 mins - using 83,000GBs of bandwidth.

The next WCT for Nalu is the Quiky Pro on the Gold Coast, followed by the Rip Curl Pro at Bells.

September 2009 - Oman Air TVCs

It was hot in the Middle East with a week long Red shoot for Oman Air, in Muscat, the capital city of Oman. The national carrier is launching new routes in Europe and Nalu is producing a number of TVCs and corporate productions supporting their new campaign. A spectacular country coupled with the warmth and hospitality of locals we had an incredible adventure.

September 2009 - Leverage Plus

A world record kitesurf crossing of Bass Strait gave us the opportunity to leverage Snicker'€™s sponsorship investment for well over a $1 million in media value. Pre-crossing video and stills shoot was used to build the hype, followed by a number of media feeds during the day of the crossing to encourage and deliver the media the liquid gold.

August 2009 - Mastercard

All wrapped up on a series of productions based around the Mastercard All Blacks Rugby promotional tour around New Zealand. Providing a roving production with quick turn around edits, Nalu helped leverage the investment by Mastercard in grass roots rugby, as they took the All Blacks to the people of NZ. June 2009 - DESAL

Just complete and now to air, is a TVC protesting the Desalination plant planned for installation near Wonthagi on Victoria's East Coast. The desal plant will destroy pristine coastline, endanger wildlife, and cause greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to 365,000 extra cars on the road each year. There's better options available.

May 2009 - BELLS 09

Nalu delivered a live webcast to millions, daily feeds and highlights, plus an hour HD program for international distribution for this years Rip Curl Pro at Bells. Thanks to all the Rip Curl staff and crew for their support on what was an epic event. Congrats to Parko on the win. Here's a sample of some of the imagery - for the high res version go HERE.

April 2009 - Luke

Welcome Luke McNee to the Nalu fold. A Producer/Director with particular strengths in post production, story telling and managing TV series, Luke has worked for Nalu as a contractor in the past and we're wrapped he's seen the light and jumped on the Nalu bus. In his spare time, Luke enjoys beard cultivation and riding in the rain.

March 2009 - Arlington Rise - TVC

30 second TVC for Portarlington real estate development "Arlington Rise". Working with Geelong agency Ivy Street, the TVC has been a great success in promoting sales of the development.

March 2009 - World Cup of Sailing

Last December Nalu produced all TV and web content from the first stop of ISAF's Sailing World Cup at Sail Melbourne - run at Sandringham Yacht Club by Yachting Victoria. The events draws the best Olympic class sailors from around the world and our efforts helped Sail Melbourne achieve a new level of exposure in local and international TV and online media. As part of our work we developed a graphics package with Munch Design, which was subsequently picked up by ISAF to be used across the remaining six stops of the tour, through North America and Europe.

We're now in pre-production with Sail Melbourne on this years event in December.

March 2009 - QUIK

The teams just back from the Goldy after the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro WCT events, where we produced all the TV "Backstage" content with hosts Kram (Spiderbait rock legend), Hoyo, Liz and Jade. Great fun and all the content can be viewed on the QUIK PRO and the ROXY PRO websites.

We now look forward to the second stop of the WCT tour, the Rip Curl Pro at Bells BEach where this year we'll be managing TV and live web streaming across the board for the event.

January 2009 - Stills and Motion combined??

Just wrapped on a RED production of a yet to be released project. Of particular interest during post has been the analysis and use of frame grabs for use in magazine advertising. We're able to pull high quality still images from Red footage for use in up to A3 prints.

With Red's new DSMC (Digital Stills and Motion Camera) plans and full 35mm frame sensor sizes the future combination of motion and still shoots will be an interesting possibility.

November 2008 - M.D.A.

Marty James rolls into Nalu as our "Master of Detailed Answers". He brings a solid background in IT and post production, with a strong skill set across producing and project management. Marty joins us from his role at Rip Curl where he managed the brands video content, Tv productions, international distribution and WCT webcasts. Got a question? Marty.com has got the answer.

November 2008 - Arlington Rise.

Big RED job just complete for a real estate development at Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula. Thanks to the Ivy Street guys for taking us on. Here's a small snippet of the end production.

October 2008 - Chicks Rip.

We've just delivered on a half hour program after a trip up the coast with Rip Curl's girl surf team. Shooting with a new EX3 and our new water housing for the EX1 provided for some great images. The program profiles some of Australia's best upcoming talent in women's surfing and captures the spirit of the grommets and WCT surfers during the camp in Forster.

September 2008 - RED galore.

The world of RED just keeps getting better. With recent firmware updates the images incredibly continue to improve and workflow is getting easier. We now have access to four cameras, complete with every bit of kit you can imagine and of course our own water housing. Here's Dave setting things up!

July 2008 - Searching in Bali

More HD production for international distribution and this time in Bali for the Search World Tour surfing event. No shortage of angles at a destination like this. Here's a few frame grabs from our RED footage.

June 2008 - Maldives Overcranked.

An incredible trip to the Maldives to cover the SriLankan Airlines Pro. Epic waves and incredible people have provided for an awesome half hour program which is now undergoing worldwide distribution. Online highlights and news feeds received international pick-up providing the sponsors and event organisors with a strong return on their investment in production.

The event also provided us with the opportunity to get the RED camera into it's new water housing and capture some incredible images at 100 frames per second - here's a part of the program providing a taste of the results.

May 2008 - MTB Enduro.

A trip to Alice Springs for the Ananconda MTB Enduro. The dusty red center and hard core riders of this event turned it on - check out the night racing. Thanks to the crew at Rapid Ascent for having us.

2nd May 2008 - Bells

We have just finished up production of a hour long show on the Rip Curl Pro at Bells. The program shot and mastered in HD is now all set for international distribution.

20th April 2008 - Mmmmmmm wine

Commissioned by Publicis Mojo on behalf of Tourism Victoria, Nalu has just finished producing a unique video piece for the Yarra Valley region.

25th March 2008 - Busy

Its been busy busy. Along with continued agency and corporate work Nalu has managed the Tv production from the summer of surfing on the ASP Australasia tour. Providing a high quality production solution together with a strong media distribution package Nalu gained great results for the events and their partners, across Pro Juniors, WQS and WCT events.

4th February 2008 - Geelong
